Global fandom business company bemyfriends' creative brand BBD (BIBBIDI) unveils TEAM01, the official character of artist SOL. TEAM01 is an official character project in which SOL participated in the prototype development and naming. It consists of the main character YOUNGWON (01) and sub-characters Re, Gree, and Blu. The name YOUNGWON combines 0, reminiscent of SOL (Taeyang meaning sun in Korean), and 1, meaning the beginning, with the desire to be with fans forever. The sub-characters are inspired by the three primary colors of light (RGB). TEAM01 reflects SOL's identity, messages, and values. The main character features a warm heart, shining mane, and small fangs. The project aims to expand fan interaction, which SOL has continuously fostered via the global fandom platform b.stage, into characters, contents, and merchandise. bemyfriends will sequentially release related contents through SOL's b.stage community, linking characters with storytelling to naturally integrate fans into the worldview.
