The nationwide street dance competition 'D-SHOCK' (organized by Chord Prise Inc., CEO: Naoya Kurusu) has revealed the event overview and prize details for its season finale, 'D-SHOCK 2026-2027 FINAL.'
Under the new three-category system (PRIME / OPEN / BASE), the FINAL will be held across three days in March 2027: BASE on March 6, PRIME and OPEN SOLO on March 30, and OPEN TEAM on March 31. This stage is reserved for elite dancers who have triumphed through 12 qualifying rounds across 7 areas nationwide.
The total prize pool is 500,000 yen. Breakdown of top prizes: - PRIME Overall Winner: ¥300,000 - OPEN TEAM Overall Winner: ¥100,000 - OPEN SOLO Overall Winner: ¥30,000 - BASE TEAM Overall Winner: ¥50,000 - BASE SOLO Overall Winner: ¥10,000 - SPECIAL AWARD: ¥10,000
In addition to cash, winners will receive career-boosting rewards. The PRIME category overall winner will feature in the 'D-SHOCK CHAMPIONS Documentary,' chronicling their journey. OPEN category winners will be featured in interviews with 'movement PRESS.' Information regarding the venue, MCs, and judges will be announced at a later date.
