The 'CBC 5-Chan Spring Festival,' held by CBC Television Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Nagoya) at Hisaya Odori Park in Sakae, Nagoya, for four days from Thursday, March 19, to Sunday, March 22, 2026, has successfully concluded. The total number of visitors during the event reached 161,000 across three venues, following an expansion of the event area this year. The two main venues, 'Edion Hisaya Square' and 'Angel Square,' saw a combined total of 128,000 visitors (compared to 112,000 last year), marking a significant increase from the previous year.

Event Highlights This year, the event was powered up as an experiential festival designed to engage all five senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. The special stage at Edion Hisaya Square hosted public recordings and live broadcasts of popular CBC TV programs, performances by renowned artists, and concerts by local high school students, creating an energetic atmosphere every day. Additionally, five gourmet booths tied to popular programs saw long queues daily, with all items eventually selling out. Angel Square featured interactive booths, including a real 'SASUKE' obstacle course set, weather forecaster and cameraman experience zones, and a CBC animation booth, which were enjoyed by many families throughout the day. Furthermore, the 'Sakae Hirobas,' added as a new venue this year, hosted an experience zone for the 'Asian Games and Asian Para Games' scheduled for September 2026. It was impressive to see visitors of all ages enjoying the experience booths with anticipation for the upcoming sports events.
