CELLORB, an esports company based in Yokohama, Kanagawa, has announced the 7th season of TOPANGA CHAMPIONSHIP, a league-format tournament for Street Fighter 6. The event opens its online main league on June 10, 2026, streamed exclusively on Wizfan, CELLORB's proprietary PPV platform.
The tournament features 36 players split into BEGINNING STAGE and ADVANCED STAGE based on prior performance. The BEGINNING STAGE runs June 10-22, followed by ADVANCED STAGE from July 1-15. The top 7 from ADVANCED STAGE advance to the offline FINAL STAGE, scheduled August 21-23, 2026, though in-person audience attendance remains TBD.
The total prize pool reaches ¥15 million (approx. $100K USD), with ¥10 million awarded to the champion — a record for non-publisher-organized domestic fighting game tournaments in Japan, up from ¥4 million in Season 6. International top players LeShar and MenaRD join alongside Japanese legends including Daigo Umehara, Tokido, Fuudo, and Momochi across 16 league match days.
