CFCL has released its CONSCIOUSNESS REPORT VOL.11 for the Spring/Summer 2026 collection, outlining life cycle assessment (LCA) analysis results and future sustainability initiatives toward its 2030 carbon neutral goal. The assessment, covering all products in VOL.10 (Autumn/Winter 2025) and VOL.11, shifts the focus from calculation to verification of specific challenges. The report details three main areas: First, material procurement, verifying the trade-offs between creative evolution and environmental impact through the use of certified materials. Second, LCA results, which compare greenhouse gas emissions across two seasons, analyze the impact of material selection, visualize emission reduction potential by switching to renewable energy, and examine specific materials like cotton-in-conversion, bamboo rayon, and Washi yarn. Third, impact metrics, highlighting CFCL's B Corp recertification with a score of 143.5, the highest ever achieved by a certified Japanese company.
