CrestLab Wins Grand Prix at SBI Entertainment Acceleration (SEA) 2026 Demo Day

CrestLab, a Tokyo-based animation production DX startup, announced that it won the Grand Prix at the demo day of 'SBI Entertainment Acceleration (SEA) 2026' on April 24, 2026. The program, organized by SBI Investment, is a short-term accelerator targeting seed startups in the entertainment and 'oshi-katsu' sectors. The demo day took place at TUNNEL TOKYO with 150-200 industry attendees.\n\nCrestLab was recognized for its AI-driven animation production system 'ANICRA', which supports layout design, in-betweening, coloring, and pre-production. The judges highly praised the team's ability to address animation industry bottlenecks, their developmental structure aligned with on-site studio expectations, and ANICRA's efficacy in real production environments. CrestLab aims to establish ANICRA as a core industry infrastructure and leverage it to produce its own AI-powered animation works in the future.
