Takinoue Hokkaido Pink Aurora Event Held for 70th Anniversary of Shibazakura Planting

East Daily Co., Ltd. (DAC Group) produced the first night illumination event 'TAKINOUE PINK AURORA' organized by the 70th Anniversary of Shibazakura Planting Executive Committee in Takinoue, Hokkaido. The event took place at Shibazakura Takinoue Park from May 21-23, 2026. It recorded a total of about 1,600 visitors over 3 days, exceeding the initial goal of 350 visitors by over 450%. This contributed significantly to the regional revitalization of Takinoue Town (population approx. 2,200) by creating new nighttime economy tourism demand. The event featured a vivid pink gradient lighting up the vast shibazakura hills and a light shower reaching into the night sky. East Daily aims to continue uncovering the potential of the Hokkaido and Tohoku regions to promote sustainable local development.
