Dstyle Holdings Co., Ltd. (Shibuya, Tokyo; Chairman and President: Mitsutaka Tokuda) announced that a joint study conducted with Fujita Health University (Toyoake, Aichi) has indicated that wearing corrective undergarments designed to improve posture may help alleviate female urinary issues.

These findings were presented by Professor Hitomi Sasaki of the Department of Renal and Urological Surgery at Fujita Health University during the 113th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Urological Association. The presentation was titled, "The Effect of Wearing Corrective Undergarments for Posture Improvement on Female Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms."

While pelvic floor muscle training is known to be effective for incontinence and frequent urination, this study focused on "posture." Researchers verified a new approach combining posture-correcting undergarments with pelvic floor exercises.

The study results demonstrated a trend toward improvement in female lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), suggesting the potential for a new self-care method.

The research was supervised by Professor Hitomi Sasaki and conducted in partnership with the group company, Diana Co., Ltd. Diana developed a new type of girdle, the "Femil Corenect Girdle," for the study and provided clinical cooperation. Additionally, in collaboration with the All Japan Yoga Federation, they devised "Corenect Yoga" to target pelvic floor muscles.

Dstyle Group plans to continue proposing new Femtech solutions that integrate medical expertise, corrective technology, and lifestyle support.
