The "Meguro Beer Garden" was held at MEGURO MARC. Through craft beer, diverse food options, and musical performances by DJs, approximately 1,300 people visited over two days.

hibino Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yasuhiro Yoshikawa) held the "Meguro Beer Garden" at MEGURO MARC (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) on June 19 and 20, 2026.

Approximately 1,300 people attended over the two days, and the event became a place where many people enjoyed their time as they wished through craft beer, a variety of food, and musical performances by DJs.

hibino Inc. does not aim to simply hold events, but rather produces "place-making" where people connect, by designing plans tailored to the characteristics of the facility and the region.

This Meguro Beer Garden is one such initiative.

"We want you to hold it again" - Voices from attendees

The venue offered a wide array of food that pairs well with beer, including craft beer, Neapolitan pizza baked in a wood-fired oven, craft sausages, authentic American food, and Oita's specialty dish, Toriten (tempura chicken) and Chicken Nanban.

With the addition of musical performances by DJs, it became a space not only for enjoying meals but also for conversation and savoring the atmosphere.

Attendees provided feedback such as:

- "We want you to hold it again"

- "It was great to have a DJ, the atmosphere was very good"

- "There was a rich variety of craft beers, and it was fun to compare them"

- "The food was delicious, I want to come again"

Plans change depending on the location

Inflatable play structures were installed according to the venue and user base. The "Hibi no Kurashi Marche" (Daily Life Market) was planned and operated, allowing enjoyment for children and adults alike.

What hibino Inc. values is "plans that can only be realized in that specific location."

Each facility has a different user base and role.

Therefore, instead of replicating the same event, they design the event content and select vendors based on the people who visit the location and the facility's concept.

Past events include:

- Held "Hibi no Kurashi Marche" at JR Meguro Station, creating purchasing experiences for over 10,000 people cumulatively.

- Planned and operated "Hibi no Kurashi Marche" at Gotanda JP Building, incorporating inflatable play structures and other elements for children to enjoy, creating a gathering place for local families on weekends.

- Cooperated in the planning and operation of food trucks at the "Teien Marche" (Garden Market) at the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, and was in charge of planning and arranging food trucks for the Art Deco-themed event "Yakaii" (Night Party).

- Held "Meguro Beer Garden" at MEGURO MARC, featuring craft beer and DJ music performances.

They have planned events with different concepts for each venue.

For stations, plans that encourage station users to stop by; for commercial facilities, plans that families can enjoy; and for cultural facilities, plans that respect the facility's worldview.

They aim to create places where people naturally gather and interact, by bringing out the unique charm of each location.

Strengths include not only planning but also proven track record with vendors

The "Hibi no Kurashi Marche" held at Gotanda JP Building. Many families visited, enjoying conversations and shopping with vendors.

hibino Inc. has planned and operated markets and events with over 100 small and medium-sized enterprises and sole proprietors.

Leveraging their experience with vendors in various genres such as food, crafts, miscellaneous goods, and food trucks, they coordinate vendors that match the concept of each facility and the theme of the event.

A strength of hibino Inc. is not just gathering vendors, but selecting "vendors who will be appreciated specifically at that location" and designing the overall plan.

Through their planning, they aim to create places where new encounters and value are generated for visitors, vendors, and facilities alike.

What hibino aims for: "Place-making"

hibino Inc. does not aim to simply hold events.

Their goal is to create places that draw out the charm of the location, where people naturally connect, and where new encounters and challenges arise.

Events like markets and beer gardens are just one means to achieve this objective.

They produce "place-making" tailored to each facility and region, handling everything from planning and vendor coordination to information dissemination and on-site operations.

Going forward, hibino Inc. will continue to work with commercial facilities, public facilities, and community organizations to create regional vibrancy through plans that leverage the unique appeal of each location.
