The investment ratios and executive structure of the new company will be determined through future procedures, with operations scheduled to begin in August 2026.

Background and Purpose IS Holdings, through its subsidiary DMC Aizu, operates services such as the 'DX-inclusive electronic coupon service' and the local payment-based hometown tax service 'Furusato Oen Nozei.' These services have been implemented in over 280 municipalities nationwide, with approximately 4,000 participating facilities. Additionally, it offers highly convenient services such as 'Ato-kara Oen Nozei,' which utilizes patented technology.

On the other hand, Mitsubishi Corporation develops hometown tax services leveraging the brands of its partner companies. Through collaborations with diverse partners, including major convenience store chains and travel-related companies, the firm is working to expand donation opportunities for municipalities.

By combining their respective business bases, customer touchpoints, and know-how, the two companies aim to promote services for regions and local governments through the new company, thereby contributing to regional economic revitalization and sustainable regional development.
