J PREP Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Jun Saito) will launch a new course, 'ET125 Beginner English Learning Support Course,' on June 2, 2026, primarily for 7th-grade English beginners. The course combines practical 'speaking and writing' practice in an All-English environment with Japanese-language learning follow-up.
This in-person course consists of 90-minute All-English classes to increase opportunities for English usage, combined with 90-minute Japanese follow-up sessions for homework review, reading aloud, recitation, and self-reflection.
Students are expected to dedicate 2-3 hours per week to out-of-class study, fostering both the ability to use English practically from the beginner stage and the habit of self-directed learning.
Key Features of the ET125 Course: 1. 90-minute All-English Classes: Promoting output through multifaceted approaches such as Grammar and CLIL. 2. 90-minute Japanese Learning Follow-up: Supporting autonomous learning for beginners through phonics, homework checks, and progress reviews. 3. Establishing a Study Cycle: Aligning 2-3 hours of weekly out-of-class study with the curriculum to build effective self-study habits.
The target outcome by the end of the course is for students to have mastered grammar up to the 10th-grade level, reaching CEFR A1 or Eiken Grade 3 proficiency.
