Jizai Inc. (headquartered in Tokyo, CEO Yuki Ishikawa) has been selected for AWS Japan's Physical AI Development Support Program. Jizai will leverage this program to accelerate research, development, and real-world adoption of its Japanese general-purpose AI robot 'Mi-Mo'. The AWS program supports Japan-based entities developing robotics foundation models, such as Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models, on AWS. It helps build end-to-end pipelines from data collection and preprocessing to model training, simulation, and real-world deployment. Founded in June 2024, Jizai provides advanced technology services, integrating AI software and hardware to create social value. Through this collaboration, the company aims to drastically advance the implementation of robotics and AI in society, while seeking new talent to join their engineering and product management teams.
