The results for the 2nd 'Empty House Senryu Contest,' themed around vacant properties, have been released. Out of numerous emotionally rich entries addressing the social issue of abandoned houses, winners including the Gold Prize and the President's Prize have been selected.

### Record-Breaking 7,041 Entries From all over Japan, 7,041 entries were submitted, significantly exceeding the 6,151 received in the first contest. The selected works express various challenges and feelings surrounding vacant houses, such as inheritance, maintenance, family memories, and community impact. The results reaffirm that the vacant house problem is a familiar social issue for many.
