Yokosuka Bilingual School Launches 'YBS Summer School 2026 for Toddlers'

Overview Yokosuka Bilingual School (YBS), operated by LaLaLand Education (Headquarters: Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture; Representative: Fumi Inoue), will hold the 'YBS Summer School 2026 Pre-K Program' for children aged 3-5, starting July 20, 2026 (Monday). The program addresses the needs of Japanese parents who want their children to experience authentic English during the summer vacation, providing a global environment where children from around the world learn together.

Background: Encouraging English as a 'Fun Experience' rather than 'Study' Many parents worry about whether their children will adapt to a new environment. YBS's summer school provides a program suitable for Japanese children encountering English for the first time. By leveraging the international environment of Yokosuka, home to over 20,000 foreign residents, children can take their first step towards naturally appreciating foreign cultures and the English language while spending time with international peers.

3. Pre-session online orientation for peace of mind To ease any anxiety for first-time participants, we offer a pre-session online orientation. You can select your preferred date upon application, ensuring you are well-prepared for the first day.
