LENDEX Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Satoshi Nakamura), operator of the lending-based crowdfunding platform LENDEX, hereby announces the fundraising and repayment status for June 2026.

LENDEX Fundraising and Repayment Status for June 2026

The results for June 2026 are as follows:

<Number of Projects>

<Amount>

Fundraising

23 projects

¥1.00483 billion

Repayment

17 projects

¥821.96 million

In June, LENDEX successfully raised ¥1.00483 billion across 23 projects. This represents an increase of 2 projects and ¥50.83 million (approximately 5.3% month-on-month) compared to May’s ¥954 million across 21 projects. Fund circulation continues to remain robust.

Repayments totaled ¥821.96 million across 17 projects. This is the same number of projects as May’s 17, but a decrease of ¥111.51 million (approximately 12.0% month-on-month) from May’s ¥933.47 million. This fluctuation is considered natural due to scheduled repayment timelines. Loan repayments from borrowers remain stable, and there has been no change in the consistent and reliable principal repayments and dividend distributions to investors.

We will continue to maintain transparent operations across all stages of fund formation, management, and repayment.

Market Conditions in June 2026

June 2026 marked a pivotal moment in financial markets, as both Japanese and U.S. monetary policies reached significant turning points.

The most notable development was the Bank of Japan’s decision to raise interest rates by 0.25% at its monetary policy meeting on June 15–16. This brought the policy interest rate to 1.0%, the highest level in 31 years since 1995. While gradual monetary normalization continues, the yen remained around ¥160 per dollar, maintaining a weak-yen trend.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Federal Reserve (FRB) decided to hold its policy rate steady at the June FOMC meeting, maintaining a wait-and-see stance. Amid growing awareness of divergent monetary policy directions between Japan and the U.S., foreign exchange markets continue to reflect downward pressure on the yen.

In the stock market, semiconductor and electronic component stocks rose on expectations of AI and semiconductor-related investments, with the Nikkei 225 reaching record highs. However, uncertainties surrounding U.S. tariff policies and geopolitical risks remain, leading to cautious sentiment among some market participants.

In this environment of fluctuating interest rates and exchange rates, lending-based crowdfunding is gaining attention as an investment option that offers stable returns, is less affected by stock price volatility, and emphasizes real estate-backed collateral.

Summary

Throughout June, the market environment was characterized by the coexistence of Japan’s progress toward monetary normalization through rate hikes and the persistence of yen weakness and geopolitical risks. With increasing divergence in monetary policy between Japan and the U.S., the importance of stable, less-volatile asset allocation has become more pronounced for investors.

We at LENDEX sincerely recognize these market shifts and reaffirm our responsibility to earn and maintain investor trust. By maintaining strict screening standards and emphasizing tangible asset backing through real estate collateral, we will continue to pursue transparent fund management.

In July as well, amid fluctuating interest rates and exchange rates, we hope investors will consider our lending-based crowdfunding as a grounded and reliable option for asset management. We remain committed to honest and transparent fund operations.
