mento Begins Provision of 'mento Management AI' to Persol Cross Technology

mento Inc., provider of the management success platform 'mento,' announced that it has begun providing 'mento Management AI' to Persol Cross Technology Co., Ltd. The initiative is designed to address span-of-control challenges faced by the company's IT Engineering Division by utilizing AI to improve management quality.

Since the merger of three companies in January 2023, Persol Cross Technology has been growing rapidly. Its IT Engineering Division faced structural challenges, with a limited number of managers overseeing over 1,600 engineers working in client-resident SES employment formats. Despite implementing regular interviews and report scoring systems, gaps remained in on-the-ground support.

Under the new system, AI interacts with members weekly to track status changes and report them to managers. This allows 1-on-1 sessions to be used for more meaningful discussions. The company plans to expand this system company-wide, including sales and back-office divisions.

Naoki Okubo, General Manager of the IT Engineering Division at Persol Cross Technology, commented: "We don't just need more staff; we need last-mile support for our field employees. The decisive factor for the adoption was that the management AI doesn't just record logs, but interprets data and provides actionable suggestions for management."
