Sapporo City and NTT DX Partner Sign Collaboration Agreement on Data Utilization Promotion

NTT DX Partner Co., Ltd. (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Abe) has signed a 'Collaboration Agreement on the Promotion of Data Utilization' with Sapporo City (Mayor: Katsuhiro Akimoto) on Thursday, July 9, 2026.

Background

Sapporo City has been advancing public-private data collaboration through the development and operation of the Sapporo City ICT Utilization Platform 'DATA-SMART CITY SAPPORO※1' (hereinafter DSCS) and the 'Sapporo Region Data Exchange Market※2' (hereinafter, the Exchange Market), aiming to enhance citizen services and revitalize the local economy through ICT utilization.

This collaboration agreement has now been established with the aim of combining Sapporo City’s public-private data and NTT DX Partner’s extensive digital transformation (DX) expertise to address regional challenges, improve citizen services, and revitalize the local economy, while also promoting new business creation and industrial advancement through public-private collaboration.

NTT DX Partner:

- Support for mid-to-long-term design to promote the utilization of DSCS and the Exchange Market - Support for operational improvement initiatives - Provision of planning and expertise to create implementation opportunities
