A joint study by Alpha Generation Lab and JOYSOUND found that Gen Alpha's first karaoke experience is at an average age of 9.4, the only generation in the single digits. This youth trend is attributed to their Millennial parents, who grew up with karaoke and now treat it as a family leisure activity. This has led to active parent-child music communication, with children being influenced by their parents' music choices. For Gen Alpha, the primary purpose of karaoke is to 'get excited and make noise' with friends.
