A mural created by mural art company OVER ALLs in Betsukai Town, Hokkaido, has become the symbolic jacket visual for the new song 'New Sea,' released on Friday, May 22nd, by the band monobright, which restarted its activities last year to much fanfare.
The mural is located in front of the 'Milk House' operated by JA Doto Asahi in Betsukai, Hokkaido, which is the hometown of monobright vocalist and guitarist Yosuke Momono.
The mural depicts two aspects: the diligence of dairy farming and a free, fulfilling daily life. It expresses the strength of local industry and the dairy women of Betsukai who live a liberated lifestyle within it. The work was born in tandem with the packaging design for JA Doto Asahi's original milk, 'Premier Rich Milk,' and is being deployed as a symbol of Betsukai Town.
Since the mural served as one of the inspirations for the song's production, it was chosen as the jacket artwork for monobright's new song 'New Sea.'
