KLEPTO Releases New Single "I've got some shoes" Featuring Taiki Kumagai (Helsinki Lambda Club) and Producer Dai Okumura

Tokyo indie rock band KLEPTO released their latest single, "I've got some shoes," on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

The track features lead guitar by Taiki Kumagai (Helsinki Lambda Club) and sound production by Dai Okumura, known for his work with CreepHyp and Sawao Yamanaka. Having been selected for Spotify’s annual "Indie Japan" Top 50 for two consecutive years, this release marks the beginning of KLEPTO's serious expansion into domestic and international markets.

Accompanying the release is a one-take studio live performance video published on YouTube, capturing the band's raw groove in real-time.

Formed in 2019 in Asakusabashi, Tokyo, KLEPTO consists of members SJM (Vo/Gt) and BNKN (Ba). The self-produced duo gained significant attention when their 2021 release "VIVA LA MY LIFE" entered the J-WAVE TOKIO HOT 100 top 20. Following their success on Spotify's official playlists, they completed a successful solo concert at Ebisu BATICA in September 2025.
