STRIDE to Implement 'AI-Powered Crew Scheduling System' for Osaka Metro

STRIDE Corp. announced that it will support the implementation of an 'AI-optimized crew scheduling system' based on Canada-based GIRO's 'HASTUS' at Osaka Metro, with operations commencing on June 1, 2026. This initiative represents the first full-scale implementation of such a system in Japan. Facing labor shortages due to an aging population, the Japanese transportation industry is seeking to modernize crew scheduling, which has traditionally relied on manual labor by experts. The system processes complex operational conditions using advanced algorithms to automatically generate optimal schedules, thereby enhancing efficiency and supporting diverse work styles.
