TRAVISTA Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), which plans and operates various contents through sports, education, and entertainment, is partnering with Leifras Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takataka Ito), which operates sports schools for children and supports the regional expansion of extracurricular activities, to launch '1v1 DRIBBLE ACADEMY D-UNLOCK' in June 2026 at six locations in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
This school was created with the purpose of nurturing 'world-class 1v1 skills' and a 'mindset that can continue to take on challenges.' We believe that dribbling is not just a technical skill, but 'the challenge itself' to take a step forward based on one's own judgment. Through self-expression via dribbling, we aim to nurture 'heroes of life' who continue to make judgments without fear of failure.
By fusing Kazukazu Okabe's proprietary dribble theory, systematized through years of research, with Leifras's nationwide operational base, we will create an environment where children anywhere in Japan can receive world-standard instruction.
Background of the school opening: Dribbling as a 'weapon to believe in yourself' In recent years, while the importance of 'the individual' in soccer has grown, an increasing number of children are struggling, fearing failure, or unable to assert themselves. Kazukazu Okabe has redefined dribbling as a 'success experience of believing in oneself and challenging with courage.' To spread this philosophy nationwide, we are creating an environment where everyone can feel safe to take on challenges through this partnership with Leifras.
Three philosophies valued by D-UNLOCK We will thoroughly create an 'atmosphere where it is okay to challenge' and unleash the potential of children. - Don't compare: Use your own growth as the standard. - Don't deny: Accept every challenge first. - Don't stop challenging: Failure is not the end, but a piece of success.
What is Dribble Designer Kazukazu Okabe's methodology? Kazukazu Okabe is a specialized dribbling instructor with over 2.4 million SNS followers and over 200 million video views. He has collaborated with national team players and global stars, providing instruction worldwide. He systematized dribbling—long considered just a 'sense'—into a proprietary theory spanning 150,000 characters. By logically analyzing the defender's center of gravity and psychology and verbalizing 'why dribbling succeeds,' he achieves high reproducibility independent of talent. Monthly instructor meetings supervised by Kazukazu Okabe will ensure consistent, high-quality instruction across all schools.
Three strengths of the project 1. Standardization to make world-level methods 'teachable by anyone': We have systematized Okabe's dribble theory into video materials and instructor manuals, building a system to provide high-quality instruction at the same level at any base nationwide. 2. Synergy between overwhelming technical achievement and human power cultivation: Fusing Okabe's 'technique' with the 'non-cognitive skill cultivation' methods long nurtured by Leifras, we cultivate players equipped with world-class skills and a strong spirit to keep challenging. 3. A safe and secure environment based on the established operational base of a listed company: Adopting the management system and safety standards of Leifras Co., Ltd., which operates nationwide, we realize highly reliable school operation that children and parents can participate in with peace of mind.
