GACKT Appointed Executive Designer at VARTIX, Unveils New Jewelry Collection 'VXLOOP'

Vartix Co., Ltd. (President: Takeshi Nakano / Headquarters: Kyoto) announces that artist GACKT has been appointed as Executive Designer, and pre-orders for the new 'VXLOOP' collection will begin on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

Combining VARTIX’s craftsmanship with GACKT’s artistic sensibility and worldview, this collaboration delivers a new product born from uncompromising craftsmanship.

I am honored to be appointed as VARTIX’s Executive Designer.

Over the past 30 years, as an artist and performer active both in Japan and internationally, I have continuously pursued one fundamental question:

What is the essential value that transcends time and trends?

VARTIX’s philosophy of 'tradition and innovation' deeply resonates with the values I have cherished throughout my career.

Respecting inherited techniques and philosophies while fusing them with contemporary sensibilities to create new value—I was strongly drawn to this vision, and I am now joining the brand in the role of Executive Designer.

My goal is not merely to create objects.

I aim to create pieces that reflect the wearer’s values, lifestyle, and aesthetic. Items that deliver an instant sense of exhilaration upon first touch, yet remain a source of pride to wear for decades. To achieve this, I am rigorously addressing every detail—from materials and form to functionality and fine expression—without compromise.

Together with VARTIX, I will challenge conventional norms in design and deliver truly valuable products to the world.
