Vibe Coding Lab (Headquarters: Chofu, Tokyo; Representative Director: Shuma Sajimoto) has announced the start of early access for its monthly accounting AI agent, 'Zeimee'.

Zeimee is designed to support the adoption of AI in monthly accounting practices, primarily for tax and accounting firms using freee Accounting and Money Forward Cloud Accounting.

Through this early access program, the company aims to collect usage data and feedback from actual monthly accounting tasks, targeting adoption by 600 firms and 30,000 client companies within one year of launch.

Challenges Faced by Accounting Firms Monthly operations at accounting firms include bookkeeping, document verification, cash flow reconciliation, and reviewing discrepancies. These tasks involve more than simple data entry; they require professional judgment, such as reading transaction details, verifying consistency with documents, and communicating with clients. Personnel require both accounting knowledge and operational skills for specific software, making hiring and training time-consuming.

AI Adoption and the Role of Zeimee According to the 'Accounting Firm White Paper 2024', while 93% of accounting firms are aware of generative AI, only 37% have used it, indicating a gap between interest and practical application. Zeimee supports monthly accounting by organizing data and preparing it for human review, enabling firms to handle more clients with limited staff.

Key Features of Zeimee Zeimee processes information from bank statements, credit card statements, invoices, and receipts to generate journal entries, perform document verification, and conduct monthly check items. Accountants simply review the AI's output, freeing up time for tax consulting and strategic management advice.

Early Access Program During the early access period, the company will use feedback to enhance AI accuracy and supported tasks, while collaborating with firms to build practical AI implementation models.

CEO Comment 'By offloading repetitive tasks to AI and separating human professional judgment from information processing, we aim to enable accountants to focus on the work they should truly be doing.' (Shuma Sajimoto, Representative Director, Vibe Coding Lab)
