Event Overview The Global Joint Presentation Contest aims to provide an equal platform for students and youth worldwide to share and exchange opinions on issues close to them, regardless of their country or region. The 4th edition was held on February 21, 2026, with students from 15 countries participating.

Participating Countries (FY2025) In FY2025, 69 teams from 15 countries participated. Participating nations included Bahrain, Czech Republic, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.

Discussions and Insights The event featured active Q&A sessions on themes presented by participants. Questions such as 'How can we scale solutions to local problems?' and 'How do we increase the certainty of our research?' provided critical perspectives that helped deepen investigations. Participants also shared similar experiences across borders, such as Bali and the Philippines collaborating on flood mitigation strategies, which led to a deeper validation of their solutions.

Activities and Winner The winning project was by the Arabian Pearl Gulf School from Bahrain, addressing food waste issues with a comprehensive proposal including curriculum integration and impact measurement. Additionally, an activity where elementary to high school students collaborated on a 'peace poster' demonstrated successful teamwork despite language barriers.

Support and Objectives A key feature of this event is that it is free to join and accessible to students of all backgrounds. Sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) Association, the event seeks to foster the foundations for peace-building in the next generation.
