First Artist Lineup Announced & Early Bird Tickets on Sale for 'KIRYU FESTIVAL 2026 MUSIC & CULTURE', the Inaugural Outdoor Music Festival in Kiryu City, Gunma!

The Kiryu Festival Executive Committee has announced the first wave of performing artists for the "KIRYU FESTIVAL 2026 MUSIC & CULTURE", an inaugural outdoor music festival held under the concept of "Music & Craft Culture Festival" in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, over two days on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, 2026. Furthermore, early bird ticket sales have commenced today, Wednesday, April 15.

For the first announcement, two magnificent artist groups with deep ties to Kiryu City have been confirmed!

Information on the first wave of artists to ignite the stage at "KIRYU FESTIVAL 2026 MUSIC & CULTURE" has been lifted!

Two groups have been confirmed to perform: "Ovall", a trio band consisting of mabanua (who relocated to Kiryu City over 10 years ago and uses it as his base), Shingo Suzuki, and Shingo Sekiguchi; and "DONGROSSO", a unit teaming up Kiryu City natives "Dongurizu" (whose music videos shot in the city have garnered much attention) and legendary Japanese dance music scene DJ/producer "Shinichi Osawa".

Discounted early bird tickets are now on sale!

Starting today, April 15 (Wed), early bird tickets for both the 2-day pass and 1-day pass are available on the official website (https://peatix.com/event/4958728).

While [General] tickets are priced at ¥9,500 (tax included) for a 2-day pass and ¥5,000 (tax included) for a 1-day pass, [Early Bird] tickets will be sold at ¥7,500 (tax included) for a 2-day pass and ¥4,000 (tax included) for a 1-day pass.

Early bird ticket sales will run until Thursday, April 30. They may end earlier if the quota is reached, so please purchase them as soon as possible.

Ovall A trio band consisting of Shingo Suzuki, mabanua, and Shingo Sekiguchi. A collective of multi-players where all members are also active as solo artists, musicians, and producers. They intensified their activities with the current members in 2006, and to this day, they maintain a stance centered on musicianship rather than genre. Placing jazz, soul, hip-hop, and rock on an equal footing, they seamlessly oscillate between live performance and sampling, throwing sounds into an elliptical (oval) groove. Their innovative style and one-of-a-kind sound have gradually drawn in the era, resulting in a flood of requests for production and collaboration from domestic and international videographers, film directors, and various artists. Since restarting in 2017, they have performed at major domestic festivals such as FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, collaborated with artists worldwide, and conducted live tours overseas. Bringing together the skills and know-how cultivated in their solo activities, the band continues to roll today while drawing an ellipse.

DONGROSSO A unit of the duo "Dongurizu" (consisting of rapper Mori and trackmaker/producer Chomo) and "MONDO GROSSO", the solo project of Shinichi Osawa, a legendary DJ/producer in the Japanese dance music scene. They have drawn attention for their live performances that fuse anti-cynical rap, cutting-edge dance music, and lyric videos. About a year since the release of their 1st album "ANTI SOCIAL SOUNDSYSTEM", they released their new song "DANCING OTAKU" on April 15, accelerating their momentum once again.
