SUP and SUP Yoga Experience Event Returns This Year at the '#Jihangun Yokosuka' Photo Spot on Nobi Beach!

YOKOSUKA OUTDOORS (1-37-9 Nagasawa), a certified school of the Japan SUP Leaders Association (SIJ), in co-sponsorship with the Yokosuka Visitor Attraction and Appeal Promotion Committee, will hold SUP (Stand Up Paddle) experience events and SUP yoga experience events aimed at mental and physical refreshment, once again this year at the '#Jihangun Yokosuka' photo spot on Nobi Beach. This year, the event will be held over two days to allow more people to participate.

The SUP experience event allows individuals to participate, and families can ride a BIG SUP together. Furthermore, this year, a session has been set up where participants can experience SUP with their beloved dogs. Through nature experiences, the event aims to deepen interest in the ocean and provide opportunities to strengthen bonds with family and pets. Participants can also enjoy the extraordinary experience of viewing '#Jihangun Yokosuka' from the sea, a sight usually only seen from the land.

The SUP yoga experience event offers a quiet time facing the sea, allowing participants to experience a sense of unity with nature and harmony of mind and body.

All experience events are accompanied by qualified instructors, so even beginners can participate with peace of mind. We sincerely look forward to your participation.

1. Date and Time Saturday, July 11, 2026 (Reiwa 8) and Sunday, July 12, 2026, at 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, and 14:00. SUP sessions are 40 minutes each, SUP yoga sessions are 20-30 minutes each. Dog SUP sessions are available only at the 10:00 start time on both days. (Please bring a life jacket for your dog. The owner is responsible for the safety management of their dog.) *In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to Sunday, July 19.

2. Capacity Up to 10 people per session for SUP experience, up to 5 people per session for SUP yoga experience. If applications exceed capacity, a lottery will be held. Successful applicants (within capacity or selected by lottery) will be notified by email in June.

3. Eligibility Third grade of elementary school and above. For parent-child participation, first grade of elementary school and above.

4. Participation Fee Elementary school students: 1,000 yen/person (tax included). Junior high school students and above: 1,500 yen/person (tax included). Parent-child participation: 2,000 yen for two people (tax included). *Includes SUP rental fee and insurance fee.
