Taisun Company Fined by Changhua County Government

1. Date of Incident: July 10, 115 2. Entity Involved: The Company 3. Cause of Incident (Event Description): Benzopyrene (BaP) exceeding regulatory limits was detected during self-inspection of soybean salad oil products supplied by Zhonglian Oils & Fats Co., Ltd., the Company's contract manufacturer. The Changhua County Government determined that the Company delayed reporting the incident and had other deficiencies, thus imposing a fine of NT$3 million under Article 7, Paragraph 5 of the Food Safety and Sanitation Management Act.

Additionally, the Changhua County Government found that the Company failed to fully explain the discovery process and subsequent handling measures, constituting obstruction of case investigation. Therefore, under Article 47, Paragraph 11 of the same Act, another fine of NT$3 million was imposed.
