Introduction

The NPO Kizuna Mail Project (Toshima City, Tokyo) established the 'Kizuna Mail Fund' in September 2024 to prevent 'lonely parenting' (isolated child-rearing) and reduce child maltreatment. The organization continues to expand its 'Kizuna Mail Project,' currently active in 34 municipalities and medical institutions, to strengthen the safety net.

About the Kizuna Mail Project

The 'Kizuna Mail Project' delivers expert-developed text messages called 'Kizuna Mail' to parents and caregivers via partner LINE accounts, email, or apps. These messages serve as an 'ongoing connection safety net' to prevent isolation among parenting individuals. The number of parenting individuals continuously connected through this safety net is measured by Active Users (AU). As of July 1, 2026, the AU count stands at 66,289. The project continues to expand its outreach to increase this number.
