The 'Noto Reconstruction Support Station,' a civilian hub for supporting Noto's reconstruction, has opened on April 18th at Cross Gate Kanazawa, located a 2-minute walk from the west exit of Kanazawa Station. This initiative is led by an NPO from Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, which has a long history since its establishment in 2002, having implemented various projects through public-private and private collaboration. In June 2025, the station, operated by the Noto Reconstruction Consortium comprising students from Kanazawa University, will serve as a private base to disseminate information and support Noto's recovery from Kanazawa, the prefectural capital. Popular sweets from the Wajima Morning Market will also be featured.
