International Cooperation NGOs Conducting Relief and Information Gathering in Nepal Flood Disaster

The Japan Platform for International Cooperation (JANIC) extends its deepest condolences to all affected by the large-scale flooding in northern Nepal on August 26, 2026. We also express our profound respect to those working tirelessly to rescue victims and support disaster-affected communities.

Japanese international cooperation NGOs have long been active in Nepal. In response to this disaster, multiple JANIC member organizations are conducting damage assessments and information gathering, while launching rapid emergency relief operations.

We kindly ask for your attention and support for ongoing relief efforts and NGO initiatives, as we work toward the swift recovery of affected individuals and the early reconstruction of impacted areas.
