On May 23, 2026, the non-profit organization Green Days Japan conducted a rice planting event in Tamba-Sasayama City, Hyogo Prefecture, for employees of Neo Japan and their families. This initiative is part of the 'Sustainable Rice Partnership' signed on January 30, 2026. Amidst challenges like aging farmers and labor shortages, Green Days Japan aims to manage and regenerate farmland comprehensively. Neo Japan joined as the first partner company. Participants experienced both manual and machine planting. The harvested rice will be distributed to Neo Japan employees in the autumn as a 'benefit in kind' welfare program, linking regional agricultural support to employee lifestyles.
