Ikuno Metal Co., Ltd. (Osaka, Representative Director: Yasuharu Konishi) is rebranding its palm-sized original tin brand from 'Caran Coron' to 'coron.' In conjunction with this, the company will release 66 types of 'Art Coron Cans' created by 28 new collaborators as the second wave of its creator collaboration series. Since its inception in 2021, the 'Caran Coron' brand has gained support for its unique product development, combining the technical expertise of a metal manufacturer with creator co-creation. The new brand name 'coron' inherits the image of the adorable, rounded shape and the pleasant sound of tins clinking together, while aiming for a simpler, more memorable name that is easier to expand globally. With this rebranding, 'coron' aims to leap forward as a brand that 'creates big possibilities from small tins.' To commemorate the renewal, the second phase of the artist collaboration project will begin. Following the first phase (20 participating artists), the company has collaborated with 28 new creators. These 'Creators Art Coron Cans,' featuring original artwork on the coron canvas, will be unveiled at ART OSAKA 2026. Each can is priced at 990 yen. Along with the brand renewal, the website and social media channels have been revamped. A new page dedicated to OEM and corporate clients has been added, detailing the strengths of the coron cans, such as '4-sided full-color printing' and 'minimum order quantity of 100 units,' to support the production of original goods and novelties. As a hub for brand information, a new Instagram account, 'coron (@coron___official),' has been launched to visually share the latest collaboration news, product appeal, and the background of the craftsmanship.
