Founded in 1924, the company has cultivated plaster technology for nearly a century. In recent years, it has focused on developing eco-friendly materials, such as 'Limix,' a ceramic tile technology that does not require high-temperature firing. This process can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by approximately 80% compared to conventional methods. Furthermore, the company is applying this technology to participate in Ukraine reconstruction projects by recycling construction waste. The award, organized by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, recognizes companies with outstanding achievements in innovation, regional economic contribution, and global expansion. Tagawa Sangyo's challenge in exploring new material fields based on traditional materials was highly praised.
