Rapoppo Namikata Farmers Village (Namegata City, Ibaraki Prefecture), operated by Shirohato Food Industry Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Moriguchi City, Osaka; Representative: President & CEO Shunichi Nagao), will host 'Ajisai Matsuri 2026' from Saturday, June 13, 2026, to Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Within the park’s 'Hydrangea Forest,' vibrant hydrangeas will be in full bloom, accompanied by photo spots, hands-on events, and limited-time café menus designed for families and couples. Additionally, on June 27 and 28 only, bubble shows, workshops, and a nighttime light-up event will be held, allowing visitors to enjoy the distinct charm of hydrangeas both day and night.

① Bubble Show by 'Kakochan the Bubble Artist'

Enjoy a magical performance by Kakochan, a childcare artist from Niigata Prefecture, creating mesmerizing bubble displays for children and adults alike. Rapoppo’s official mascot, Yakiemon—the roasted sweet potato fairy—will also make a special appearance.

② Hydrangea Workshops

Participate in hands-on workshops using hydrangeas grown at Rapoppo Namikata Farmers Village. Choose between 'Hydrangea Bouquet Making,' which includes flower picking, and 'Pressed-Flower Bookmark Making.' Create unique keepsakes using your favorite blooms.

③ First-Ever! Ajisai no Mori Light-Up

This year’s Ajisai Matsuri features the debut of a nighttime light-up event!

Decorations such as umbrellas and balloons in the Hydrangea Forest will be illuminated, creating a fantastical evening atmosphere.

Limited-Edition Ajisai Matsuri Menu Items

At Rapoppo’s Mori no Iimo CAFÉ, enjoy bestsellers like the hamburger lunch box and sweet potato-infused 'Imo Waffle.' Limited-edition hydrangea-colored treats like 'Ajisai Soda' and 'Ajisai Imoffle' will also be available.
