The 53rd Sagamihara Citizens' Cherry Blossom Festival to be Held on April 4th (Sat) and 5th (Sun)

Sagamihara City will host the "Sagamihara Citizens' Cherry Blossom Festival," a signature event that attracts many visitors from within and outside the city each year, on Saturday, April 4th, and Sunday, April 5th, Reiwa 8 (2026). Under the concept of "Creating a Hometown for 720,000 People" ~Seeking coexistence for all: people, things, and nature~, the main venue will be Sagamihara City Hall's Sakura-dori (Cherry Blossom Avenue). Over 200 booths, stage performances, and parades, all created by the citizens, will welcome everyone. We invite you to come and enjoy this event, held amidst the full bloom of cherry blossoms lining approximately 500 meters of roadside!

【Access】 Nearest Station: JR Yokohama Line, Sagamihara Station (approx. 15-minute walk from the South Exit to the City Hall Sakura-dori venue) ※There is no dedicated parking for visitors. ◎Main Events 〇Executive Committee Parade (Sagamihara City Hall Sakura-dori) *Around 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 4th 〇Events by the Sagamihara Junior Chamber Inc. (next to City Hall) ・WORLD STREET SAGAMIHARA A special area packed with global cultures will appear within the venue. International students and foreign residents in the city will directly introduce the charms of their home countries. 〇Sagamin & Space Corner ・Exhibition of materials from JAXA's Institute of Space and Astronautical Science ・Photo opportunities with the city's mascot character "Sagamin", etc.
