On Saturday, May 30th, Iwata City (Shizuoka Prefecture) will hold the 'Iwata Civil Engineering LOVE Festa 2026' with the aim of fostering interest and curiosity in civil engineering among children.

This event is organized through cooperation between government agencies, civil engineering contractors, universities, and other related organizations. On the day, approximately 20 construction vehicles such as excavators and concrete mixer trucks, along with over 10 experiential and experimental booths related to civil engineering work, are planned to be set up.

It is an event that both children and adults can enjoy. We look forward to your visit.

4. Vocational Experience Booth Indoor booths include an experience booth where you can operate an excavator via VR, and a booth where you can learn about the charm of bridges while experiencing it, allowing you to get hands-on experience in civil engineering work.

In addition to these, there will be booths to learn about materials used in civil engineering, and booths to learn about soil liquefaction through experiments with university professors, allowing everyone to enjoy learning about civil engineering.
