Social Welfare Corporation Kurishimakai has announced the launch of 'Imabari Parabiennale,' an art festival co-created by people with disabilities, artists, and local residents, set for February 2027. To kick off the project, a talk event titled 'What Artists Can Do in Local Society' will be held on May 20, 2026, in Imabari City. The initiative promotes the 'Town as a Community Center' concept, fostering diversity and social inclusion through art projects in public spaces, welfare facilities, and shopping districts.
