Fukuoka Tower Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City; President and CEO: Kazumichi Tanaka) will begin illuminating a new summer-limited illumination on July 14. Named the 'Sunflower Illumination,' it dynamically portrays a giant sunflower across the entire tower, set against a vivid blue sky shining in the night.

A Giant Sunflower Blooming in the Night Sky

【Message Behind the New Creation】

Created with the feelings of 'energy' and 'hope,' inspired by sunflowers that bloom powerfully toward the sun.

We aim to bring bright smiles and unforgettable summer memories to all visitors.

【Show Details】

The first 7 minutes feature a still-image display of large sunflowers blooming against a blue sky background.

The final 3 minutes feature a dynamic animation: triggered by the appearance of a swallowtail butterfly, the sunflowers transform from rainbow colors to golden yellow, culminating in a finale where countless sunflowers illuminate the night sky. Each full cycle lasts 10 minutes.
