Yonezawa City in Yamagata Prefecture has added a new sake named 'Jidai' to its hometown tax return gifts. Produced by Chibasan Farm, this pure rice sake (Junmaishu) is brewed using 100% 'Sawanohana', a rare rice variety grown locally without fertilizers or pesticides. The sake is designed to inspire conversations about the past and future. The set includes two 720ml bottles for a 17,000 yen donation, offering a harmonious blend of dry and sweet flavors.
