Promotion of Heatstroke Prevention Measures

We will promote initiatives to protect children from the summer heat and enable safe school activities by implementing heatstroke prevention measures in elementary and junior high schools.

① Installation of air conditioning in elementary school gymnasiums ● Install air conditioning in elementary school gymnasiums ● As these facilities serve as designated evacuation shelters, this also contributes to improving disaster prevention capabilities

② Installation of water servers ● Install water servers in elementary and junior high schools

Project Overview ▶ Free trial introduction for 2 years following the conclusion of an agreement with a private business operator (agreement concluded in March 2026, already installed) ▶ During the trial introduction period, the usage status and introduction effects for children will be verified, and full-scale introduction from FY2028 onwards will be considered
