Background of the Event
Gunma Safari Park has been loved by many families since its opening in 1979, and will celebrate its 47th anniversary in 2026. Historical assets such as photos, brochures, park maps, and admission tickets from that time are filled with charm that is nostalgic for parents and grandparents, and surprisingly fresh for children.
With the concept of "To the safari where we came as a family long ago. This time, with our children," this project links nostalgic materials and resources to exhibits, merchandise, limited menus, and park-wide rallies, offering a limited-time summer event that provides an "experience as if time-traveling to the safari of those days" throughout the park. It can be enjoyed by three generations of parents and children during summer vacation and the Obon holiday return season.
