The Narashino City Fire Department will deploy a new "Water Tank Fire Pump Truck Type II" with the aim of strengthening its disaster response capabilities. This new vehicle can immediately discharge water upon arrival, even in areas without hydrants where water supply is difficult to secure, and its water carrying capacity has been expanded approximately 3.3 times, from the conventional 1,500 liters to 5,000 liters. To foster a broad understanding of the fire department's initiatives, a briefing session for the newly deployed vehicle will be held. This briefing session is intended for members of the press. The general public can view the vehicle at the "Firefighter Interaction Plaza" held at the Central Fire Station on the third Saturday of odd-numbered months.
