Komono Town and Inabe City in Mie Prefecture will hold a guided climbing tour, 'Ryugatake THE HIKE', set on Mount Ryugatake (elevation 1,099m), one of the Suzuka Seven Mountains spanning both municipalities, on Friday, June 5, 2026.

This tour is an experiential event aimed at those with little climbing experience or those who want to 'challenge the Suzuka Seven Mountains', where professional guides will explain the history and natural charm of the region as they walk.

The course takes about 6-7 hours in total, full of variety, aiming for the summit from Ishigure Pass and descending via Ennsoku Ridge, known for its clusters of white Yashio azaleas. By collaborating regionally and teaching safe ways to enjoy the mountains, the event aims to foster sustainable mountain tourism and local affection.
