Overview The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) has begun accepting applications for the 2nd 'Food and Agriculture Connect Award' as of today.

Purpose As part of the 'Nippon Food Shift' project, the MAFF has been honoring corporations, organizations, and individuals since fiscal year 2025 who implement excellent initiatives that foster mutual understanding, coordination, and collaboration among stakeholders in the food system—ranging from producers and food businesses to consumers—based on the Basic Act on Food, Agriculture, and Rural Areas.

Application Information ### Eligibility Corporations, organizations, and individuals conducting initiatives in one of the following categories: (1) Food Stability Supply Sector (2) Food Access Assurance Sector (3) Sustainable Food System Establishment Sector (4) Smart Agriculture Technology Development and Dissemination Sector
