The Koriyama City Museum of History and Information will host a special lecture featuring Toogo Nagase, a haiku poet known for his works inspired by the Great East Japan Earthquake. He will speak about his motivations for expressing the disaster through haiku and the messages embedded in his poems. This event aims to revisit the memories of the earthquake through the power of poetic language and encourage renewed reflection on disasters and disaster preparedness.
