Lead author of "World Container Shipping and Route Overview 2025" (published by Japan Maritime Association, compiled by NYK Research Group).

Longtime expert in container shipping, frequently invited as a speaker at seminars hosted by the Japan Maritime Center and the International Freight Forwarders Association, as well as the Kyushu Logistics Innovation Forum.

Daisuke Miyaki (Miyaki Daisuke)

Section Chief, Ocean Transport Center, Ocean Business Division, Yusen Logistics Co., Ltd.

Joined Yusen Air & Sea (now Yusen Logistics) in 2007. Gained experience in import customer service and sales operations in Nagoya and Tokyo.

2015–2017: Engaged in ocean freight operations at NYK Group South Asia.

2017–2024: Involved in formulating and executing global business strategies for ocean operations at NYK’s Hong Kong entity.

Current role since April 2024.
