Minamoto Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture; CEO: Genta Hosoda) announces that its 'Yakiniku Horumon Takeda Ikebukuro Store' will launch a 'Peach All-You-Can-Eat' campaign starting Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Customers who order eligible yakiniku all-you-can-eat courses can enjoy unlimited domestic peaches for an additional ¥550 (tax included).

This initiative adds value to domestically grown peaches that are often excluded from regular retail channels due to appearance, size, or minor blemishes, thereby supporting producers while enhancing customer satisfaction.

The popular Ikebukuro store, known for its thick-cut beef tongue and wagyu all-you-can-eat offerings, is implementing this project in collaboration with Hyakusou Co., Ltd.

Enjoy juicy Japanese peaches after your yakiniku feast. For producers, this creates a new utilization opportunity for peaches that might otherwise go unsold. For customers, it adds a delightful 'second stomach' experience to their yakiniku meal — a summer-limited campaign.

Background of the Initiative

The idea originated from a chance meeting at a trade show.

After meeting Mr. Matsuda, president of a produce wholesaler, and discussing fruit-based menu options, the team learned that many fruits — despite excellent taste and quality — fail to reach regular markets due to cosmetic imperfections.

Aware of this issue, Minamoto considered, 'As a restaurant, how can we add value in a way that benefits both farmers and customers?' This led to the creation of the 'Peach All-You-Can-Eat' campaign.

Key Features of the Initiative

1. Adding Value to Non-Standard Produce

The peaches used are domestically grown and of high quality, but are typically excluded from retail due to appearance, size, or minor damage. By offering them as a dessert option in a yakiniku restaurant, the campaign creates new usage opportunities for these fruits.

2. Dual Benefit: Farmer Support and Customer Satisfaction

For producers, this provides a sales channel for peaches that previously lacked market value. For customers, it offers a high-satisfaction experience: unlimited domestic peaches for just ¥550 extra with their yakiniku all-you-can-eat course.

3. A Refreshing Post-Yakiniku Treat

After indulging in thick-cut beef tongue and wagyu, customers can finish with juicy, refreshing peaches. This summer-themed campaign offers a light, palate-cleansing contrast to the rich flavors of grilled meat.
