Mifuku Welfare Corporation (Matsuyama City) opened 'Kirara Tsubaki' (Amayama, Matsuyama City), an apartment-style group home for people with disabilities, on May 7. This is the corporation's fifth unit, following the communal-style 'Kirara Botchan/Madonna' facilities.

'Kirara Tsubaki' is a 'completely private, apartment-style' home where each room is equipped with its own bathroom, toilet, and kitchen, similar to standard rental apartments. It caters to individuals and families who aspire to live independently but worry about security or health management, or those who may not fit into traditional communal living settings. Residents can live at their own pace while relying on professional staff for support such as medication management, financial management, and free accompaniment to hospital visits.

Located in Amayama in central Matsuyama, the facility offers excellent convenience, just a 2-minute walk from the 'Jo-Pla' shopping center and a 5-minute walk from 'AEON.' Additionally, the corporation's 'Kirara Mifuku' (Type B employment support center) is located nearby, allowing residents to use both housing and employment support services concurrently.

To minimize the economic burden on residents, the facility provides essential furniture and appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, microwave, IH stove, bed, etc.), a Wi-Fi router, and curtains. Combined with corporation-covered fire insurance, this achieves 'zero initial moving costs.' The estimated monthly cost is approximately 72,200 yen (including tax) after rent subsidies, supporting an affordable start to independent living.
