62Complex Co., Ltd. (HQ: Fukuoka City; CEO: Tsukasa Hashimoto; hereinafter '62Complex') supported facility operations improvement and visitor experience enhancement at the Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB), a startup support hub in Tokyo, through a footfall measurement and analysis project conducted from February to March 2026. This project was implemented as a procurement case utilizing the 'First Customer Alliance (FCA)' system promoted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

◼️ Project Overview To help TIB visitors utilize the facility more extensively, 62Complex leveraged its proprietary 3D spatial analysis platform, 'MATIENCE,' to perform anonymous footfall analysis using LiDAR sensors. The project quantified facility usage trends and validated various improvement measures. Notably, MATIENCE enables integrated analysis of data from remotely installed LiDAR sensors, allowing for evaluation of connections between events and specific facility areas.

Period: February 16, 2026 (Mon) - March 8, 2026 (Sun) Location: TIB 2F floor (from near the entrance to before the ROOM entrance) Analysis Method: Real-time AI analysis using LiDAR sensors via MATIENCE

◼️ Measures and Results Based on usage data, the following measures were implemented:

<Promoting routes and increasing usage for connection with the cafe> Measures included promoting the use of underutilized routes (stairs and landings) compared to escalators, improving the placement of public relations materials, and enhancing facility awareness to link with internal features like the cafe. Feedback-driven improvements led to a 3.25x increase in the visit rate of the area around the stairs compared to before the project.

<Incentivizing measures to boost vitality in display areas> To stimulate the display areas, 62Complex executed layout changes focused on primary foot traffic routes identified through data analysis and expanded the range of interactive displays.

<Analysis to support post-event networking> 62Complex analyzed post-event networking trends and facility layout usage to provide data-driven design insights for future event organizers at TIB.

◼️ Future Outlook 62Complex positions its physical space analysis technology, centered on MATIENCE, as a platform that transforms spaces into 'computable data layers.' By structuring space into 3D data and quantifying changes, the company aims to support high-level decision-making in diverse areas from facility management and urban planning to logistics, manufacturing, and robot collaboration. Starting with implementation in public facilities, the company aims to establish a standard architecture for treating physical space as data, with an eye toward promoting digital transformation (DX) in the private sector and integration with other spatial information platforms.
